WHO WE ARE

Rack 18 is published by Ioannis Barmparis (Maistros Music), Greece. Contact: info@maistrosmusic.gr.

IN SHORT

Rack 18 does not collect personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. We receive nothing from the app.

NETWORK

The app talks only to your mixer on your local network (OSC over UDP). To find the mixer it searches your local network. It does not send data to us or to anyone else.

DATA ON YOUR DEVICE

Your settings, scenes, setlists, presets, musician mode settings (including the optional PIN), language choice and recently used mixers are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

HOTSPOT

The hotspot name and password you enter in TOOLS › HOTSPOT are sent only to your mixer. The app does not keep the password.

AUDIO PERMISSION

The app asks for audio-input permission (iOS calls it "Microphone") only for REC, to record the audio your mixer sends over USB. Your device's built-in microphone is never used.

RECORDINGS

Recordings are saved as WAV files on your device (iPhone/iPad: Files › Rack 18; Android: Music › Rack 18 Recordings). They leave your device only if you share them yourself with SEND. On Android, a notification is shown while a recording is running.

CHANGES

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
